What really makes me happy is the people I meet through Wave a Wand; the community is so incredibly supportive.
What inspired you to start your business?
I was inspired to start Wave a Wand Gifts because I couldn’t find a specialty gift business for people that are a bit more conscious; those that are more metaphysical and self-care minded like myself. I wanted to find a place where I could go and buy my friend a home smudging or full moon ritual kit. Or somewhere that I could pick up fun and funky gifts like incense, books and the like. Maybe I wanted too much out of one place but then again, when I couldn’t find it I decided to create it myself! This is how Wave a Wand was born.
Extending my product line from gift baskets to beauty products came easy for me. I’ve always handcrafted my own natural beauty products, since I was young, so when I started Wave a Wand, I saw this as a great opportunity for me to meld both passions.
What is the brand’s philosophy?
I think really my brand’s philosophy is quite simple. We just want to send everyone a little bit of magic and make gift giving way easier in the process.
What has been your greatest achievement so far?
Everyday as an entrepreneur is an achievement in my mind. What really makes me happy is the people I meet through Wave a Wand; the community is so incredibly supportive. So far my greatest personal honor has really been in the clients that I’ve had thus far. A few big names I can’t mention but the celebrity recognition has been so amazing.
