Interview with actress, model and singer Lu Tirado

You’re capable of achieving great things if you keep on going.

Tell us about yourself and what you do 
My name is Lu Tirado, I’m a 21 year old actress, model and singer from Mexico City.

Who has inspired you in your life and why?
I’d say mainly Demi Lovato, because she’s the first person I really looked up to 10 years ago and throughout the years, she has only gotten more honest and true while being indredible at everything she does. I think she’s a really strong woman and one of the most powerful vocalists of her generation.

What is your greatest achievement so far?
Getting to audition for Disney Channel Latin America, although I didn’t get the role, out of thousands of girls in 4 different countries, I made it to call backs, it was a great experience in which I learned a lot of what I am capable of.
Also, getting 10k on Instagram was a really cool achievement as an independent model, actress, and singer.

Do you have any tips for our readers that are trying to break in the industry?
I’d say, keep going, sometimes the road is hard and you might wanna give up, but remember that you’re not what anyone says, you shine, you’re capable of achieving great things if you keep on going, it takes time, but in the end, if you like what you’re doing, and you’re sure about the road you’re taking, you’ll get far in life. Also, be yourself, don’t let others shape who you are.
