Fancy A Luxury Self Care Session? Here’s What You Should Do

Luxury self care isn’t only enjoyed by those with private jets and minimalist mansions. It’s something you can invest in during those moments when you really need a break and you want to feel like a princess as you take one!

And if you fancy a luxury self care session in the near future, we’re here with a few ideas as to what you should try. If you want to take some ‘me time’, here’s how to be a bit more luxurious about it.

Buy Yourself a Luxury Gift Set

You don’t have to wait for someone else to get the hint and buy you a luxury pampering set filled with designer creams, handmade soaps and perfumes, and a few healthy snacks to nibble on as you go. You can just go and buy one for yourself and make good use of it.

It’s a bit of an expense, and you might find that hard to justify without having an ‘occasion’. But we’re here to remind you that needing some self care is an occasion. And if you want to encourage a bit more me time, self care, and self love, you’re going to need to treat yourself just like any other loved one in your life!

Book a Spa Session

You could give yourself a spa session at home, of course. It’s more than OK to set the atmosphere with a few candles and some incense, lower the lights and put your phone on do not disturb, and then apply a face mask, use a massage cushion, and meditate.

However, if you want luxury, you’re going to want a few hours at a high end spa! Booking into a relaxing retreat like Spencer’s Spa, and having some time to literally close your eyes, shut the world out, and let someone massage every inch of your back and shoulders, is the perfect way to get some luxury self care fitted in.

Attend a One to One Yoga Class

Yoga is a good way to stretch your body out and maintain good core strength. That’s the first big tick it gets. But it’s also just a very luxurious way to exercise in general.

After all, you’re not hitting high intensity rep milestones, and trying to fit a half hour’s worth of exercise into 2 minutes. You’re taking your time, staying in each position for as long as you want, and setting a calm and relaxing vibe.

And if you’d like to do some yoga, but you don’t want to try and get a space in an evening session down the local gym, book yourself a one to one yoga session with a personal instructor. This way you get a private space to stretch, and plenty of time and attention from the instructor leading you.

When you need a bit more luxury from your self care, make sure you try out ideas like these. They’ll help to break up that kind of hum-drum feeling you’re desperate to escape!
