Summer is going to be very cheerful with lots of prints, beautiful colors, summer fabrics, and new trends! Are you ready? Read on for more summer inspiration and let me know your favorite summer outfits.
One of the first trend colors is yellow. From soft yellow to bright yellow, mustard and neon. If you usually wear neutral colors yellow might not be your first choice. But let’s try something new this summer! If you combine yellow with sand tones or light pink yellow gets a stylish character. If you want to stand out combine with green, red or blue. Yellow is such a lively color you can also use yellow in floral prints or in accessories, like a small bag and earrings.
Bodycon Midi Dress
The long dress and skirts are the trend these summer months. And especially in floral prints. Good styling comes with it. Combine the long dress with cool sneakers or very trendy boots, or open sandals. If you want to create a tropical look combine with colored heels. I personally like colored heels very much, but in the right model and nice quality material, because otherwise it will look very cheap and you want to avoid that.
When you wear a long skirt you can wear a top in the same color to look taller. Or you can go for a cute t-shirt or top in contrasting material. With a biker jacket you can create a totally different outfit and look. If you want to accentuate your waist wear a high waist skirt or accentuate with a belt. Small details gives your look that little bit of extra.
The romance of all the floral fabrics is further enhanced by the extensive use of embroidery this spring! Nice embroideries with white and black fabrics. But also very nice in combination with light blue (stripes) shirt fabrics. You can make this romance a little cooler by mixing it with well-washed jeans! This summer there is no such thing as too many flowers, layers, frills, colors, and prints. This season may well be a bit more, as if we are dressed like our favorite dolls from the past. Think flowers in your hair, lush dresses, cheerful colors, and romantic feminine silhouettes.
In contrast to soft pastel colors and earth tones, the 2019 fashion trends are also dominated by neon. We see the color this season in business clothing such as trousers, skirts, and blazers. If you really want to stand out you can dress up in neon from top to bottom.
Cropped Skinny Jeans
Dots and stripes
Another big trend is the dots in all sizes and colors! Black and white, blue and white, but also in surprising combinations. The dots appear in all items, from sheer dresses, blouses, pants, and accessories! Dots are always nice, just like stripes.
The real cargo pants are back perfect to wear when you want something comfortable. Stylish overalls, skirts, and trousers with large pockets and here and there a pocket. We see this trend a lot in combination with calm, safari chic colors. Combine with romantic fabrics and a pair of high heels underneath and your outfit is complete!
This summer you can wear silk or satin scarf in your hair. It gives any simple outfit an extra touch. Go for a colorful print scarf or two-tone scarf depending on your outfit. When the sun is out it will protect your head. If you are not a big fan of scarfs you can wear a satin blouse instead.
White Satin Blouse
And don’t forget the leopard print, which remains fully present. This print is becoming a kind of basic item in your wardrobe. And you can make the nicest and most creative combinations. You can combine leopard with coral, yellow and violet this summer.
And there is another animal print that really continues this season; the snake print! It seems animals print won’t go out of style. You can combine this print with bright colors.
If you prefer to create a luxurious look this summer use feathers. In dresses, skirts, handbags, earrings or other accessories. You can go for a bright color like pink or blue or more toned down with neutral colors.
