Johannesburg, South Africa – At just 16 years old, Giselle Niemand is adding another international destination to her growing career, with the young South African talent set to showcase at Paris Fashion Week this October.
Giselle will participate in the Africa In Paris showcase from 2 to 4 October 2026, presented by Africa Fashion Week in collaboration with Noir Fashion Week Paris.
She will be among the South African models presenting the latest work from New Romantics Couture, the fashion house led by designer Nadene Marx.

The Paris opportunity comes after New Romantics Couture entered Africa Fashion Week last year and won the opportunity to showcase internationally. The collection will now make its way to Paris, with Giselle joining the models bringing the designer’s work to an international audience.
For Giselle, the opportunity builds on her previous experience at New York Fashion Week, where she walked internationally, while her wider career has seen her perform across South Africa, the United States and Dubai.

A natural performer, Giselle has developed her career across music, modelling, acting and dance. Her ability to move between different creative disciplines has become an important part of her identity as an entertainer.
Paris now becomes the latest chapter in her international journey, placing a young South African creative among talent from across Africa and the world.
