Richard Mille is a luxury watchmaking brand of Swiss origin that was launched way back in 2001. Based in Les Breuleux, the brand was found by Richard Mille & Dominique Guenat. Richard Mille is well-known for making totally unexpected and rather bold statements. In this year’s edition of SIHH, the brand created a stir really. The much-acclaimed bonbon collection was launched which is a new series of juicy and sweet looking watches (10 pieces). The luxury watches in the collection look and feel really different. It proves once again why Richard Mille is revered in watchmaking technology.
Richard Mille limited edition
The new set of watches come in bright colors that introduce the watches into a brand new world of chromatic and emotional expression. The set comprises of 10 models and each model is produced in 30 pieces to make it a limited edition. The watches feature a whole new concept in watchmaking that features candies, fruits, and pastries. The collection also re-visits the brand’s three iconic past models namely RM 07-03,the RM 16-01 and the RM 37-01. This has been an attempt by Richard Mille to take the watch lovers back to their childhood days.
The Bonbon collection with colored gemstones
The Bonbon collection is designed and manufactured with superior technology. And with a deep understanding of how the tinted ceramics behave. All the pieces feature richly colored gemstones and a variety of textures. If that is not enough, the crowns and a few case bands are available in funny shapes of cupcakes and gelatos. There is no doubt that Richard Mille has successfully applied the science of materials and textures. And created a huge collection of delightful pieces. Every watch in the bonbon collection is mouth-watering and definitely promises a minute of horological ecstasy.
