become a lifestyle coach?
What’s up! My name is Adetoro Majek and I am the founder of The InnHer Experience, an online oasis for women who want to re-discover themselves spiritually and emotionally where I provide coaching in developing and nurturing your emotional health and wellness!
What surprising lessons have you learned along the way?
So Much! I have learned too many lessons in my life but the top ones that stick out to me the most is learning to accept myself regardless of what other people may think and know of me and what they expect of me in regards to how I live my life and the decisions I choose to make! The next is to be willing to trust myself in the decisions that I make in my life even when it doesn’t always work out the way I want it to. And the last would be to always go with the first thought or the intuition you receive, listening to your first initial thought voice about following through on an action or an idea you have!
Why is self-care important to achieve your goals?
Self-care is crucial in manifesting your goals! It allows you to have peace and clarity of mind your body and spirit needs to achieve and prosper in the work you do or want to accomplish! Creating a self-care routine or practice provides you with greater insight on what next steps to take and the design process of your goals by reducing stress and limiting beliefs in your psyche by giving you a sense of confidence in yourself and your pursuits as you go after your dreams and desires.
A lot of women feel a pressure to be perfect. Can you share any practical tools to start accepting yourself more including all your imperfections?
Meditation, prayer, positive self talk and affirmation building are my go to’s when I need to build myself up and feel distracted by the world on who I should be verses who I know I am! When you implement these practices, they will help you build the confidence you are looking for in yourself that you won’t be able to find in the world. Meditation eases your spirit, prayer gives you an outlet to express your emotion, fears and self doubts, positive self talk builds your spirit up by giving you the love and support you don’t or can’t receive from the people or places you want, you are literally acting as your own best friend and confident when you create a positive conversation with yourself! And last but not least are reciting mantras, mantras are simple three to five simple words beginning with I AM, that provide confirmations on the state of where you see yourself or where you want to be.
