With socks inspired by symbolic cultural textiles and arts found in various cultures around the world, Emowa’s mission is to inspire EVERYONE to hold on to what makes them unique. They didn’t just set out to create another meaningless commodity. They aim to encourage EVERYONE to carry a piece of their pride and culture every step of their journey towards success. When you step into Emowa socks, you are stepping boldly into the world. Emowa introduces a product for those on a journey to be known!
The socks are inspired by prominent African textile such as Kente and they are made of high quality Egyptian cotton. Grown from the Gossypium Barbadese plant, the cotton is considered to be the best by many.
Emowa was founded by three individuals who emigrated from Nigeria to the U.S. at a very young age. Struggling with their identity not completely fitting in with the other kids they decided to embrace their culture, individuality and differences and Emowa socks where born.
