1. You Eat a Varied Diet

We’re not talking about eating food from a wide variety of different restaurants.

A healthy diet incorporates food from all of the different food groups. Ideally, you’d be eating several servings of fruits and veggies each and every day. You’d also incorporate healthy carbohydrates like whole grains or sweet potatoes, and protein, as well.

If you have a healthy relationship with food, you might notice that you only eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full. This is termed intuitive eating, and it’s an indicator that you’re in tune with the internal signals your body sends to you about eating.

2. Stairs Are a Breeze

Some people loathe the stairs. You see them as an opportunity.

Stairs are a great way to gauge your physical fitness. If you can go up two or more flights of stairs without getting winded, then you’re probably in pretty great physical shape. It’s even better if you can comfortably maintain a conversation while moving up the stairs at a brisk pace.

If you’re not quite there, then you know that you have some work to do. Challenge yourself to do it! 

3. You See the Dentist Regularly

One of the healthiest habits you can maintain is regular visits to the dentist. 

Taking care of your oral health does more than maintain a pretty smile. Poor oral health has been linked with things like heart disease, so seeing a dentist twice a year or more is critical.

4. You Have a Lot of Energy

Do you wake up in the morning with lots of energy?

This is a good indicator that you’re meeting a lot of your body’s needs. This can include the right intake of vitamins and minerals. You’re probably also getting enough sleep at night. 

Having the energy to do what you want to do throughout the day is a great sign!
